Tess Coady

Dual gold medallist in Slopestyle and Big Air at the 2017 Junior World Champion. Made her senior debut that same year, earning selection as Australia's youngest competitor for the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympic Games.

Tess Coady is the reigning Junior World Champion in Slopestyle and Big Air, recording the stunning golden double at the 2017 Junior World Championships in the Czech Republic.

At the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympic Games, Tess was Australia’s youngest competitor. In a stroke of misfortune, confronted by difficult weather conditions, Tess crashed out on the final jump of her Slopestyle training run, rupturing her ACL and denying the 17-year-old her debut Olympic appearances. Officials called off the event an hour later due to unsafe conditions.

Heading into the Winter Games, Coady was ranked 5th in Slopestyle and 22nd in Big Air. She was also in form, having won a bronze medal in Slopestyle at the 2018 Snowmass World Cup in January, proving she is more than ready to mix it with the big guns on the world stage.

In fact she only made her senior debut in 2017 making an immediate impact by finishing 6th in her first two Slopestyle events and 11th on debut at the FIS World Championships.
