Awarded the Ken Catchpole Medal for Shute Shield Player of the Year. Eight contracted seasons with the ACT Brumbies including one Super Rugby finals appearance.


Andrew Smith plays for the ACT Brumbies in Super Rugby. He made his debut for the franchise in 2010, making 50 appearances in four seasons, including playing in the 2013 Super Rugby Grand Final.

Smith was contracted to Munster in the Guinness Pro12 in for the 2014 and 2015 seasons, before signing with Montpellier Herault Rugby on a short term deal to provide cover for the senior team during the 2015 Rugby World Cup. He returned to Super Rugby in 2016 on a two-year deal with the ACT Brumbies, which has since been extended for the 2018 season.

Andrew Smith played junior Rugby in Sydney and was a member of the Waratahs Academy system. He was awarded the Ken Catchpole Medal in 2008 as the Shute Shield Player of the Year, playing for Northern Suburbs.
